These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of holyground.com, any related Holy Ground websites, any Holy Ground mobile applications or downloadable software that may be offered in the future, and any related products, content, features, and services operated by Holy Ground LLC ("Holy Ground," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Scope of the Site
Holy Ground is a theology website. The Site may include theological articles, ebook PDFs, videos, a Bible and Christian-book reading portal, product reviews, recommendations, affiliate links, and, now or in the future, paid digital products or services including premium video courses, memberships, mobile applications, or other software.
Some books or texts available through the Site may be in the public domain. Other materials may be copyrighted and used by Holy Ground under license, permission, purchase, or other lawful authority. Availability of any content may change at any time.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You may browse most portions of the Site without creating an account. However, certain features, including access to purchased premium video courses or other restricted content, may require an account.
When account registration is available, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your first name, last name, email address, and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
The Site is not directed to children under 13. You may not create an account if you are under 13. To purchase paid content or enter into a paid transaction through the Site, you must be at least 18 years old or have valid permission from a parent or legal guardian with authority to bind you to these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate an account, restrict access, or cancel orders if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms, used the Site unlawfully, or engaged in abuse, fraud, account sharing, or other misuse.
3. Personal limited license
Subject to these Terms, Holy Ground grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site and its content for your personal, non-commercial, educational use only.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, modify, create derivative works from, sell, sublicense, rent, or exploit Site content except as expressly permitted by us in writing or by applicable law.
If you purchase or are granted access to a premium course, digital download, app, or other paid content, your purchase gives you a personal license to access that content only as described on the applicable product page, checkout page, or related terms presented at the time of purchase. Unless we expressly say otherwise, no purchase transfers any ownership rights in the content.
4. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- use unauthorized automated means to access the Site or collect Site content or data;
- make requests to the Site in a manner that imposes an unreasonable burden on the Site or interferes with normal operation;
- attempt to obtain access to portions of the Site, accounts, systems, or information that are not intended for you;
- interfere with or bypass the Site’s access restrictions, technical protections, or security-related features;
- share your account credentials with others or allow others to access paid content through your account;
- remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, watermark, or other proprietary notices;
- upload, transmit, or introduce harmful code or other material that may damage or disrupt the Site; or
- use the Site in a way that infringes any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other legal rights of any person or entity.
We may investigate violations and may suspend access, block requests, preserve evidence, remove content, cancel transactions, or take any other action we consider appropriate.
5. Reviews, recommendations, advertising, and affiliate links
Holy Ground may publish reviews, recommendations, rankings, comparisons, sponsored placements, promotional content, and advertisements.
Some pages may promote Holy Ground’s own premium products or services. Some pages may also contain affiliate links to third-party products or services. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, Holy Ground may receive a commission or other compensation.
Holy Ground intends to disclose material affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously where required. However, your purchase or use of a third-party product or service is a transaction between you and that third party, not with Holy Ground, unless we expressly state otherwise.
We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, suitability, availability, or performance of any third-party product or service referenced on the Site. Your reliance on any review, recommendation, or referral is at your own risk.
6. Payments, orders, and refunds
If Holy Ground offers paid content or services, you agree to provide accurate billing and payment information. Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. Holy Ground does not store full payment card numbers.
Pricing, availability, access periods, subscription terms, renewal terms, and refund terms, if any, may be stated on the applicable checkout page, product page, or separate policy and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Unless otherwise stated at the point of sale or required by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or revoke any order or access where necessary to prevent fraud, address errors, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the Site or users.
7. Intellectual property
The Site, including its design, layout, text, graphics, video content, course materials, compilations, branding, logos, source code, software, and other content, is owned by Holy Ground LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Holy Ground is a registered trademark of Holy Ground LLC. You may not use the Holy Ground name, trademark, logo, or other branding without prior written permission.
Public-domain materials remain in the public domain. Licensed or otherwise protected materials remain subject to their applicable legal restrictions.
8. Mobile apps and downloadable software
Holy Ground may, now or in the future, make mobile applications or other downloadable software available. Any such software is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and any additional license terms presented with the software.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from any software except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
9. Educational content only; No personalized advice
Holy Ground provides theology, educational, and informational content only.
Content on the Site, including content relating to dating, marriage, relationships, finance, entrepreneurship, counseling-related topics, health, fitness, or other life issues, is not individualized pastoral, counseling, medical, mental health, therapeutic, legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice.
No content on the Site creates any counselor-client, therapist-client, attorney-client, physician-patient, fiduciary, or similar professional relationship. You are responsible for your own decisions and for obtaining appropriate advice from qualified professionals when needed.
10. Third-party services and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, embedded media, payment processors, analytics tools, software platforms, affiliate programs, app stores, counseling programs, dating services, or other third-party services.
Holy Ground does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, terms, performance, or actions. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Copyright complaints and DMCA policy
Holy Ground respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
If you believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright, you may send a notice consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Information about the DMCA and the notice-and-takedown process is available from the United States Copyright Office at: https://www.copyright.gov/dmca/
A proper infringement notice should include, at minimum:
- a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right allegedly infringed;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it;
- your name, address, telephone number, and, if available, email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Holy Ground may remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing and may notify the user responsible for the material, if applicable. If a valid counter-notification is received, Holy Ground may restore the material as permitted by law.

12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all content, products, and services made available through it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holy Ground disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, secure, accurate, complete, or free from errors, interruptions, or harmful components.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holy Ground LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holy Ground’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Holy Ground for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose; or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
14. Responsibility for misuse
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Holy Ground LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of the rights of any third party, including any third-party product or service linked, reviewed, recommended, or otherwise referenced on the Site.
15. Suspension and termination
Holy Ground may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site or any account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, used the Site unlawfully, failed to pay amounts due, or created risk or harm for Holy Ground, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately end. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, payment obligations, dispute-related provisions, and any other provisions intended to remain effective.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
17. Changes to the Site or these Terms
Holy Ground may modify the Site, discontinue features, change pricing, revise offerings, or update these Terms at any time.
When these Terms are updated, Holy Ground will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
A failure by Holy Ground to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of its right to do so later.
19. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement between you and Holy Ground regarding the Site and supersede prior discussions or understandings relating to the Site.
