About

Holy Ground is changing the state of online theology.

Most theology on the Internet suffers from a real lack of quality. Content mills publish a never-ending stream thin, spammy, AI-written articles. When people struggle with the deep questions of life, and go online for help, this sad clickbait is often all they find.

Holy Ground is changing this. It is connecting soulful, talented Christian scholars with the theological questions that are asked by everyday people. The result is a marked increase in the state of online theology, and thus a richer, more concrete hope available to people in their journey to believe in God.

Faith statement

Holy Ground is a site that champions Christ as Lord, who holds God as our great Joy, and the source of all good things. Our theology is written from a faithful ancient Christian perspective, holding to the major historical creeds of the church like the Apostle’s Creed and the Nicene Creed.

The Apostle’s Creed, 200 A.D.

We believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Amen.
